Since our process for submitting volunteer hours has changed, many of you don’t know and wonder about how the volunteer hours are recorded. So I wanted to give you a quick intro into this procedure.
First , how do you submit your hours? Go to Members -> My Profile -> Submit Volunteer Hours and fill out the form. When you submit your hours , your request goes to whomever you assigned as Verifier and it is forwarded to myself as well. Once I receive approval from the Verifier I will mark your hours as approved and update your member profile hours balance to add newly approved hours. If you don’t see hours that you submitted being added to the current balance, don’t worry. It may take up to a week to get member profile hours updated. Also associate members will see their hours summed up and recorded in the primary member’s profile.
We have a record of every submission on our website and we can always retrieve historical data to check if there are discrepancies.
Last but not least, you don’t have access to hours submitted like you used to have but I can retrieve them and share with you if necessary.
